Innovation Exchange
This segment typically takes place from 11:45-12pm PT each PVIAG meeting - so come early to take advantage of this valuable extra opportunity to engage with our group members and guests!
The first step is for you to take note of interesting innovations that you encounter as you go about your daily lives in the month leading up to each PVIAG meeting, and consider sharing them with our group! Anything associated with the concept of "innovation" is fair game, such as an innovative technology, business model, business process, advertising method, innovative way of thinking, etc.
It can be:
something you read or watch about in the news
something that you encounter in your personal or professional life (like riding in a self-driving taxi, or a new innovative software tool you're feeling delighted to have recently discovered)
something new that one of your clients is bringing to market
etc.
When the Innovation Exchange segment starts, attendees who have their zoom hand raised will be called on to share their innovation. It is OK to just tell us about your innovation without any supporting media, but it makes a more engaging and memorable experience for the rest of us if you if you bring up a website or BRIEF (<90 seconds) video for everyone to follow along with via screen share and/or drop a link in the chat for folks to read more about it later.
The intentions are to:
give folks an opportunity to get a little extra air time by sharing an interesting innovation with other meeting attendees
foster some informal dialogue between meeting attendees during this segment, revolving around the innovations being presented
spark new relationships between meeting attendees who discover common interests and curiosities
give folks a reason to be mindful about PVIAG and fellow attendees as you go about your respective lives throughout the month between meetings
Bonus: if your innovation pertains to a technology tool you think our group members & guests will get value from into the future, please also consider posting about it on the PVIAG tech tools recommendations wall of fame here!
